Investing In Your

Wellbeing

Services + Investment

Deciding how to invest in your mental health and emotional wellbeing is an important choice. Here are some important things to consider.

Your Emotional Wellbeing Fuels Every Other Area of Your Life- There are many different ways to care for your emotional wellbeing and therapy is just one powerful way of doing it. No matter how you choose to do it, your emotional wellbeing is worth investing in because it allows you to show up, and be who you want to be in every other area of life. When you are emotionally whole and healthy you can love yourself, support your partners, live an engaged life, pursue ambitious goals and more.

The Power of Finding the Right Fit - Working with a therapist who is the right fit can make the difference between spending years in therapy feeling missed, not seeing progress, and just venting versus being heard, seen, and experiencing real growth and healing. Twelve sessions with a therapist who is the right fit will serve you more than sixty sessions with a therapist who is not.

The Freedom to Get the Type of Therapy that Actually Works for You- Here’s the hard thing about using insurance for therapy. Insurance put limits on how therapists can and cannot work with client, requires therapists to diagnose you before covering sessions, requires therapists to use specific interventions for specific diagnoses. I believe that therapy is a healing and growth process that should be guided by the wisdom of clients and therapists. You know what you need and what works best for you.

The Value of a Therapist that is Truly There for You - I am intentional about the number of sessions I have each week and the number of clients I take on at any time. A burnt out therapist does little good for anyone. An important part of my job as a therapist is making sure I am mentally and emotionally available and resourced for my clients, have the time and space to find resources for you and plan for you next session, and have the time to read, research, do consultations and trainings, and stay refreshed, rested, and resourced.

“The best investment, the best bet, the best risk you can take is one on yourself. The wisest financial and time spent is towards your mental health, in my opinion. Do it now, do the work, allow Lauren in, you won’t regret the journey.”

Virtual Individual Therapy

The investment for individual therapy is $185 per 50-minute session. I currently have limited sliding-scale slots available.

Out-Of-Network Insurance Billing

I am happy to be an out-of-network provider for insurance. That means you pay for my fee out-of-pocket and I can provide you with superbills so that you can, hopefully, get reimbursed by your insurance company.
